Spring 2021

Hi Everyone!

Sorry, i didn’t post a new category up last week; I (Jenna) went on a little vacation! I don’t have one for this week either. I needed a vacation, from my vacation. Well, sort-of! I haven’t been feeling great and Don’s been pretty busy, so he didn’t size the images yet for me to download and watermark… I’m not sure about next week either, because Don and I will be going on a very mini getaway (hopefully) to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary!

Don and I actually started our business together before we were married, so we’ve been together for more than 20 years! We’ve had so much fun in those 20 years that I like to joke and say it feels like 50!

Even though I don’t have a new category to add to the images on our site, I am excited to share a couple of things! Our son Joe has moved back home and is in recovery from his foot surgery (which is going very slowly). But we’re happy to have him back helping at the gallery. In addition to his usual work at the gallery, he’s been helping Don on some of the acrylic paintings on upcycled wood. Don sketches it out and Joe helps with choosing colors and basecoats. In the past, we have done some Don and Jenna art series, so we are calling some of these Don and Joe’s. (be sure to check out some pics on Facebook and Instagram.

Here’s some other exciting news! Don’s art is featured on the Station Cape Disappointment sign! On the right side of the sign, you can see the artistic logo he did for them years back. (I’ll have to insert the actual year later).

Thank you for your patience as we grow our site and for your continued support of Don Nisbett art! it’s a great Spring here at the coast and we are looking forward to the season getting kicked off at the Port of Ilwaco!
